Goodfella’s Pepperoni Pizza Pockets Review

I was doing a online shop at Iceland and I came across the Goodfella’s Pepperoni Pizza Pockets whilst looking in the pizza section and thought I would order a packet to try them out.

You get two pocket pizzas in the box, and because each one only takes 2 minutes in the microwave, they are ideal for a quick snack or if in a hurry.

When removed from the microwave the pocket pizza is quite hot inside, so be careful especially if giving to young children, and allow to cool for a couple of minutes.

They do taste very nice with a tasty filling inside, however they could do with a little more filling, but other than that I still enjoyed and I am going to buy them again.

I also noticed that they do a triple cheese pocket pizza, I have not tried these yet but I will be picking up some when next out shopping.

These look really good, I am usually a bit wary of microwave pizzas as I had one a few years ago and the dough was like rubber after cooking, does this one end up being like that?

I also had a similar experience in the past with a Chicago Town microwave pizza, and I thought it was vile, and it also put me off microwave pizzas for a while. I can assure you that these ones are much better, although like I said in my review, they could do with a little more filling inside.

The Goodfella's pizzas do not go rubbery in the microwave, they come out soft, and they heat right through.

That's reassuring, do you need to turn them in the microwave or anything?

No you do not need to turn them. All you do is remove from the outer packaging, and place in your microwave with the cardboard which sits underneath the pizza.
