I think Solskjaer is doomed to fail, the players at Man Utd are just not good enough, the project will take too long to rebuild, and does he even have the experience for the job! As much as I enjoyed him as a player for Utd, or should I say super sub, I just cant see him being in charge for a long time at Utd.

He is still quite new in the job so requires a little time. I think he will be judged on what business he does in the January and summer transfer market, and what how he starts out next season. If things were to continue as they are he will be sacked as they are back to playing garbage and being defensively like how they were playing when Mourinho was in charge. Strange as when he first took over he had them playing really attacking winning football.

I agree, he needs more time. Man Utd are sitting 5th in the league so far, that is not all that bad considering he is pretty much building a new Man Utd. If he can be smart in the transfer market and bring in 2-3 new quality signings everything might start turning even better. People are to quick to try and get managers sacked, they need to be given time.

Yeah they were awesome when he first took over. Remember that game away from home against a strong PSG. The results have been shocking lately though, just got beat 2-0 by Burnley at home is not acceptable. As much as I want to give him a chance I think we need a well known manager in charge.

A club as huge as Man Utd requires a manager with experience. Solskjaer has not achieved much as a manager. He managed Cardiff and got them relegated to the Championship, and he managed Molde in the Norwegian league. Hardly the credentials needed for as big a job as Man Utd manager.

They should sack him and bring in someone who has the experience, and allow the new manager to bring in their own players, I would not trust Solskjaer to bring in the right players.

They have brought in managers with experience though, after Ferguson left they have tried David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, and José Mourinho. In my opinion none of these 3 were given enough time. They are not going to progress if they keep sacking and changing all the time. Give Solskjær a few seasons and let's see if he can build something worthwhile. Klopp and Guardiola were all given a few transfer windows before everything clicked into place.
