How do you make Horlicks and what does it taste like?
I was looking for some tips to help get a better sleep at night and Horlicks came up a few times. What does the drink taste like, and is it easy to prepare?
Also does it work with getting a good nights sleep?
The taste is quite hard to explain, just milky and malty if anything is best way to describe it. To make is easy, you just put 2 heaped teaspoons of Horlicks in a mug, add a tiny amount of water, mix to form a paste, fill up with milk, and heat in microwave for 2 minutes stirring half-way through.
That is the easiest way, or you can heat milk in a saucepan and avoid using a microwave.
I never noticed any great improvement with sleep drinking it, I think that's just a myth, but I never let it go to waste as it's still a nice evening drink.
